DearColleagues,
Asyoumightrecall,the10thSino-SingaporeconferenceonBiologywasheldinXiamen,Nov2009.Themeetingwasagreatsuccesswithmanyparticipantsfrom15topChineseuniversitiesandtheNationalUniversityofSingapore.Thefuturedirectionoftheconferencewasdiscussedamongalltheparticipantsanditwasdecidedthatadifferentformatwouldbeneededtoaccommodatetheparticipationofmanybiologistsfromotheruniversitiesinthisregion.
WehavedecidedtolaunchtheXiamenWinterSymposiaseriesbasedontheconceptsimilartotheMiamiWinterSymposia.TheSymposiawillbebasedinXiamenandisopentoallbiologistsinthisregion.Itwillfocusoncuttingedgeresearchinallareasoflifescienceswithaselectedconferencetopic(s)foreachyear.Allspeakerswillbechosenpurelybasedonscientificmeritsforthegivenfieldoftheyear.
WehaveapproachedtheChineseAssociationforScienceandTechnologyandhavereceivedtheirenthusiasticendorsementwithpotentialfundingsupportinthefuture.Similarly,XiamenUniversityhasalsopromisedconferencevenueandotherlogisticandsecretariatsupport.
Tomoveforward,weseekyourendorsementasafoundingmemberfortheXiamenWinterSymposia.Thereisnolegalorfinancialcommitmenttobeafoundingmember.WewillcallageneralmeetingsometimesinNov2010toapprovetheconstitutionandoperationalmodeofthesymposia.

本次會(huì)議主題：MolecularMechanismsandSignallinginCancer
目前由于報(bào)告人名額已滿，僅接受壁報(bào)申請(qǐng)。1月15日前提交的壁報(bào)摘要均可收入會(huì)議論文摘要集。
凡符合會(huì)議議題的墻報(bào)，請(qǐng)于2011年1月15日前遞交墻報(bào)摘要以便收入論文集并安排展位。
墻報(bào)要求：①英文；②尺寸：80cm（寬）×110cm（長(zhǎng)），豎版，內(nèi)容及格式自定；③自行制作張貼，大會(huì)提供張貼空間；④其他要求：墻報(bào)盡可能使用自帶背膠的廣告紙制作。
