Welcometothe16thReachtoRecoveryInternationalBreastCancerSupportConference-theworldwideforumacrossAsia-Pacific,Europe,AfricaaswellasNorth,CentralandSouthAmericaforbreastcancersurvivors,supportorganizationsandhealthprofessionalstomeetandaddresscommongoals.

Breastcanceristhemostcommoncancerinwomenworldwide,comprising16%ofallfemalecancers.TheWorldHealthOrganizationreportsthat,morethan500,000womenlosttheirlivesin2004tobreastcancer.Althoughbreastcanceristhoughttobeadiseaseofthedevelopedworld,nearly70%ofallbreastcancerdeathsoccurindevelopingcountries.Howtoraiseawarenessamongdevelopingcountrieshasbecomeaglobalconcern.
